More information about Nature Premier Cru Cuvée - Desruets Joseph
With the Desruets Joseph Nature Premier Cru Cuvée, a first-class Champagne finds its way into the glass. It presents a wonderfully radiant, light red color. The mousse of this sparkling wine appears in the glass as exceedingly fine, elegant and persistent. When swirling the wine glass, this sparkling wine reveals an excellent balance, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. On the nose, this Desruets Joseph sparkling wine reveals all kinds of apricots, brioche, pears and peaches.
On the palate, this balanced sparkling wine is characterized by an exceedingly crisp, creamy and light texture. The finish of this sparkling wine from the winegrowing region of Champagne, more precisely from Champagne, ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Nature Premier Cru Cuvée from Desruets Joseph
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Nature Premier Cru Cuvée from Desruets Joseph is Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. In Champagne, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. The Nature Premier Cru Cuvée is clearly shaped by the climate and viticultural style of Champagne. In the best sense of the word, this French wine can be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself as exceptionally refined and complex. The ripening of the harvested grapes for this wine from Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir is influenced to a not insignificant degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even grape ripening and a rather moderate must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently pressed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.
