The organic wine Pablo Claro Tempranillo from the winery Dominio de Punctum is produced in the largest Spanish wine region Castilla - La Mancha, at an altitude of almost 700 meters.
The Dominio de Punctum winery, now run by the eighth generation of the Fernández family, presses grapes exclusively from its own vineyards, grown according to organic and biodynamic principles. The grapes are gently pressed into this elegant and fruity red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, a smooth, varietal full-bodied red wine with a great price.
Taste and tasting notes of the Pablo Claro Tempranillo
Dominio de Punctum's Pablo Claro Tempranillo organic wine displays an elegant cherry red color with purple hues in the glass. On the nose it smells of heart cherry, plum and light spicy notes. The palate is fresh and harmonious, soft and full-bodied. An elegant and fruity red wine with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
This elegant, fruity Spanish red wine goes perfectly - as recommended by the producer - with appetizers, classic tapas hot and cold and meat dishes of all kinds.

Cultivation and vinification of the Pablo Claro Tempranillo from Dominio de Punctum
The Pablo Claro Tempranillo is made from 100% organically and biodynamically grown Tempranillo grapes in the estate's own vineyards around the Dominio de Punctum winery. To preserve the freshness and fruitiness of this Tempranillo wine, the harvest takes place during the night hours. The maceration on the skins is done cold before fermentation. This gives the wine its elegant fruity aromas and its cherry red color.
Since 2005, the vineyard has been cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles, sustainably, respecting the soil conditions, the climate, the natural growth and ripening of the grape during the growing year.
The grapes obtained in this way are free of pesticides, insecticides, synthetic fertilizers or any kind of chemical. This care allows them to develop their varietal characteristics, resulting in grapes and wines of high quality.
Awards for the Pablo Claro Tempranillo
The 2014 vintage was awarded the bronze medal at the Challenge Millésime Bio 2015.
