The Rosado from the wine-growing region of Castilla - León presents itself in the glass with a brilliantly shimmering purple-red, light red, and strawberry pink. This single-varietal Spanish wine beautifuly highlights expressive notes of Gallia melon, papayas, mangos, and star fruits in the glass. Additionally, hints of other fruits complement the aroma.
On the palate, the Rosado from Condesa de Leganza starts wonderfully dry, full-bodied, and aromatic. Light-footed and multi-layered, this light rosé wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this youthful rosé from the wine-growing region of Castilla - León, specifically Castilla y León VT, ultimately impresses with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of the Condesa de Leganza Rosado
This rosé wine clearly focuses on a single variety, namely Tempranillo. For this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Condesa de Leganza, only flawless grape material was harvested. After harvest, the grapes are immediately transported to the winery. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation of several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled. After the wine’s completion, the Rosado is carefully harmonized.
Food pairing recommendations for Condesa de Leganza Rosado
This Spanish rosé should ideally be enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine for banana trifle in a glass, baked apples with yogurt sauce, or an omelet with salmon and fennel.
