The Saguramo Classic from Winery Guramishvilis Marani in Kakheti reveals a brilliant, ruby-red color in the wine glass. The first nose of the Saguramo Classic presents notes of pomegranate and plums. Red currant joins the fruity components of the bouquet.
On the palate, the Saguramo Classic from Winery Guramishvilis Marani opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. There is dry and really dry. This red wine belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with only 2 g of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. The finish of this red wine from the Kakheti wine-growing region, which is well capable of aging, finally convinces with a remarkable length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the soils dominated by black earth and volcanic rock. In Kakheti, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of volcanic rock and black earth. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
