More information about Sauvignon Blanc Kalkstein trocken - Weingut Manz
The Sauvignon Blanc Limestone from the Manz winery in Rheinhessen offers a brilliant, pale yellow color in the glass. The first nose of the Sauvignon Blanc Limestone flatters with nuances of gooseberries and white currants. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by sun-warmed rocks and forest floor.
On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc Kalkstein from Weingut Manz starts out wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced.Despite its dry flavor profile, this white wine delights with a delicate melt and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc Limestone presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of white currant and gooseberry. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl and limestone join in.
Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Limestone of Manz Winery
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Sauvignon Blanc. Only the best grape material was used for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Weingut Manz. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc Limestone can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
