More information about Spätburgunder Rosé - Weingut Meßmer

In the glass, the Pinot Noir Rosé from Weingut Meßmer has a brilliant, shimmering ruby red color. The first nose of the Pinot Noir Rosé reveals notes of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. The fruity notes of the bouquet are joined by even more fruity, balsamic nuances.

On the palate, the Pinot Noir rosé from Weingut Meßmer starts off pleasantly dry, full-bodied and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp and creamy texture. The Pinot Noir rosé is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. The finish of this rosé wine from the Palatinate region is convincing with a good aftertaste.

Vinification of the Pinot Noir rosé from Weingut Meßmer

This elegant rosé wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes for this rosé wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Dining recommendation for the Meßmer Pinot Noir Rosé wine

This rosé wine from Germany is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to spaghetti with yoghurt and mint pesto, veal and onion casserole or vegetable salad with beetroot.
