Villa Rèmole, namesake of Frescobaldi's Tenuta Rèmole

The historic villa in Sieci, east of Florence, where the family memories meet with the great history, is the namesake of the wines of Tenuta Rèmole. Already since the 14th century there were fulling mills along the river Arno, important factories, among the largest in Tuscany, belonging to the ancestors of the Frescobaldis, for the processing and marketing of wool. The village of Rèmole is characterized above all by its extraordinary Romanesque church, whose slender steeple rises high above the church building.
