The balanced Unteröwisheimer Löss Pinot Blanc from Germany is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. Unteröwisheimer Löss Weißburgunder is an Old World wine through and through, as this German wine breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. When perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for Unteröwisheimer Löss Weißburgunder are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of coarse and barely selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in French oak barriques.
