The Altozano Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc is a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it offers a wonderfully brilliant, pale yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Altozano presents aromas of physalis, honeysuckle, lime, cherry blossom and acacia, complemented by garrigue, Mediterranean herbs and juniper. On the palate, Altozano's Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-bodied white wine is characterized by an immensely melting texture. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Castilla - La Mancha, more precisely from La Mancha DO, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc of Altozano
The elegant Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc from Spain is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest way. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for 2 months.
