Vinification of Bodegas Aradón Viña Romita Red Rioja
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful Viña Romita Red Rioja cuvée from Bodegas Aradón is Garnacha and Tempranillo grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in La Rioja. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into clay and limestone soils. The berries for this red wine from Spain are harvested very quickly and preferably in the morning, once optimal ripeness has been ensured, in order to preserve their aromas. After being hand-picked, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is matured for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
