Vinification of the Pinot Blanc of Weingut Kiefer
The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Pinot Blanc is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.

This German wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to vegetable salad with beetroot, omelet with salmon and fennel or coconut-lime fish curry.
