The powerful Weissburgunder Terrassen Smaragd from the pen of Rudi Pichler shimmers with dense light yellow in the glass. Previously declared a site wine from the Kollmütz vineyard, the wine now bears the name of the terraces on which its grapes grow on gneiss and loess.
After the first swirl, this white wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. To the nose, this Rudi Pichler white wine reveals all sorts of plums, nashi pear, quince, black cherries and morello cherries.
