More information about Weißer Burgunder trocken - Ökonomierat Rebholz

The white Burgundy of Ökonomierat Rebholz from the Palatinate offers a brilliant, light yellow color in the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Ökonomierat Rebholz reveals aromas of quince, pears, apples and nashi pear, complemented by black tea, vanilla and oriental spices. This dry white wine from Ökonomierat Rebholz is for purists who would prefer 0.0 grams of sugar in their wine. The Weißer Burgunder already comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 1 gram of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of apple and quince. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess are added.

Vinification of the Ökonomierat Rebholz Pinot Blanc

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Blanc. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from Ökonomierat Rebholz. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loess soil. The berries for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand, at the time of optimal ripeness. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Ökonomierat Rebholz Weißer Burgunder

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to stir-fried vegetables with fish, roasted trout with ginger pear or vegetable salad with beetroot.
