More information about Zweigelt Rosé - Leth
The elegant Zweigelt Rosé from Leth flows into the glass with a radiant purplish red. With a bit of time in the glass, this Old World rosé wine reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of strawberry, raspberry and sour cherry, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
On the palate, Leth’s Zweigelt Rosé starts pleasantly dry, firm and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced rosé is characterized by an immensely crisp texture. On the finish, this rosé wine from the Lower Austria region delights with a beautiful length. Notes of sour cherry and strawberry appear once again.
Vinification of Leth Zweigelt Rosé
The basis for the balanced Zweigelt Rosé from Austria is grapes of the Zweigelt variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for Leth Zweigelt Rosé
Enjoy this rosé wine from Austria ideally moderately chilled at 11–13°C as an accompanying wine to leek tortilla, cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables, or chickpea curry.
