More information about Acústic Montsant D.O. - Bodegas Acústic

The barrel-aged Acústic Montsant from the wine-growing region of Catalonia offers itself in the glass in dense purple. Ideally poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine displays wonderfully expressive aromas of morello cherry, plum, damson and black cherry, rounded out by air-dried ham, forest floor and sun-warmed rocks contributed by barrel aging.

This dry red wine from Bodegas Acústic is just right for wine drinkers who would prefer 0.0 grams of residual sugar in their wine. The Acústic Montsant already comes very close to this, it was vinified with just 0.5 grams of residual sugar. This dense red wine presents itself full-bodied and complex on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Acústic Montsant flatters with a velvety palate feeling, without lacking freshness at the same time. The finale of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia, more precisely from Montsant, which can age well, finally thrills with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by clay and sand.

Vinification of the Acústic Montsant from Bodegas Acústic
