More information about As Ladieras DO - Cuevas de Arom
The As Ladieras from Cuevas de Arom is an excellent, varietal red wine from the Spanish D.O. Campo de Borja in Aragon.
A brilliant ruby red with bright red highlights shines in the glass of this wine. The complex bouquet presents multilayered, intense aromas: red and black berries are revealed in combination with floral notes. The floral and berry aromas are accompanied by subtle smoky hints. On the palate, the aromatic complexity of the nose is also reflected and is enveloped by a wonderful freshness. The tannins are discreetly integrated into the very good body and are accompanied by hints of clove and black pepper. The finish is convincing with a wonderful length.
Vinification of the Cuevas de Arom As Ladieras
The Garnacha grapes for this Spanish red wine grow from 25-year-old vines at an altitude of 500-600 m in a flat location. The harvest is done exclusively by hand.
In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed and then fermented at a controlled temperature in 5000 liter cement tanks and then in the cement tank and winery open. After the fermentation process is completed, this wine is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Finally, this wine is bottled lightly filtered.
