Vinification of Breakaway Pinot Blanc de-alcoholised from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett
This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Breakaway Pinot Blanc de-alcoholised are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of harsh and hardly selective machines. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There, they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures follows. After the end of fermentation, the light-footed Breakaway Pinot Blanc de-alcoholised is aged for several more months in 500 l oak barrels. After the wine is finished, Breakaway Pinot Blanc is gently de-alcoholised.
