Vinification of the Chardonnay Felsenstein by Birgit Braunstein
The basis for the balanced Chardonnay Felsenstein from Burgenland is grapes of the Chardonnay variety. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
