Chardonnay - Viña Los Vascos

The Chardonnay of Viña Los Vascos from the Chilean wine-growing region Valle de Colchagua is a varietal, balanced and fresh white wine. 

This wine shows a golden yellow color with delicate greenish reflections in the glass. The rich bouquet smells seductively of melon, banana and citrus. On the palate, this Chilean white wine explodes with overloaded fruit richness of grapefruit, oranges, underpinned by flavors of pear and gooseberry. A fine acidity supports the full-bodied nature of this Chilean Chardonnay, giving this wine its freshness and elegance. In addition, this white wine has a powerful and complex body with a long and expressive finish.

Vinification of the Chardonnay from Viña Los Vascos

The grapes for the Chardonnay of Viña Los Vascos come from the Colchagua Valley.  The berries are harvested at optimal ripeness and carefully pressed, then slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks. There, this white wine continues to age for a bit until the Los Vascos Chardonnay is bottled.
