More information about Sauvignon Blanc - Rings

In the glass, the Sauvignon Blanc from the Rings estate displays a brilliantly shimmering light yellow color. On the nose, this Rings white wine reveals a variety of pomelos, pink grapefruits, limes, grapefruits, and oranges. As if that weren't impressive enough, aging in large wooden barrels adds hints of cinnamon, Mediterranean herbs, and forest floor.

The Rings Sauvignon Blanc presents itself to the wine enthusiast as delightfully dry. This white wine never comes across as coarse or barren, as one might expect from a wine in the high-quality segment. Light-footed and multifaceted, this dense white wine unfolds on the palate. With its pronounced fruit acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc tastes wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this wine from the wine-growing region of the Pfalz ultimately delights with a remarkable aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the clay and gravel-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc from Rings

This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand, loess, and gravel. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Sauvignon Blanc are harvested exclusively by hand, without the aid of rough and non-selective harvesters. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house. Here they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc is aged in oak barrels for several months.

Food Recommendation for the Rings Sauvignon Blanc

It is best to enjoy this white wine from Germany moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C as a companion to potato skillet with salmon, Jamaican chicken legs with pineapple salad, or vegetable stew with pesto.
