More information about Gran-Chardonnay Valle de Uco Bio - Domaine Bousquet
The Domaine Bousquet Gran Chardonnay is a first-class white wine. In this it offers a wonderfully dense, golden yellow color. This wine also shows greenish-yellow reflections in the core. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the New World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of pink grapefruit, lavender, lilac and Gallia melon, rounded off by cinnamon, black tea and cocoa bean, which the aging in wooden barrels contributes.
This Argentine wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine, this Argentine naturally enraptures with the finest balance for all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. Pressurized and multilayered, this silky and dense white wine presents itself on the palate. The finale of this white wine capable of aging from the wine-growing region of Mendoza, more precisely from Valle de Uco, finally thrills with good reverberation.
Vinification of the Domaine Bousquet Gran Chardonnay
The basis for the powerful white wine from Mendoza are grapes from the grape variety Chardonnay. In Mendoza, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. Clearly, the Gran Chardonnay is also determined by more than just the soil of the Valle de Uco. This Argentine can be described as a New World wine in the best sense of the word, and it is extraordinarily impressive. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Gran Chardonnay are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a maturation of 10 months in French oak barrels.
