More information about Handschrift trocken - Lergenmüller
The handwriting of Lergenmüller from the Palatinate offers a dense, ruby red color in the wine glass. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in strong church windows at the edge of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from the Palatinate region enchants with nuances of mulberry, black currant, blackberry and blueberry. If we trace the aromatics further, vanilla, cinnamon and oriental spices are added.
This red from Lergenmüller is a good choice for all wine lovers who like as little residual sweetness in the wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never appears meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine premium and site wine segment. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the signature reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region the Palatinate, more precisely from Hainfeld, finally captivates with extraordinary reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by clay and limestone.
Vinification of the Lergenmüller handwriting
The starting point for Lergenmüller's first-class and wonderfully powerful Handschrift cuvée is Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo grapes. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. Clearly, the signature is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Hainfeld. This German wine can be described in the best sense of the word as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself extraordinarily impressive. After the grapes are harvested, they immediately reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
