The Kaapzicht Pinotage from Kaapzicht presents a deep purple color with a dense core. On the nose, aromas of ripe, wild fruits such as plum, mulberry, blackberry and black cherry can be perceived, complemented by toasted cedar and vanilla. The palate initially appears racy with a core of red fruits and ripe, firm tannins. The complex, opulent palate is reminiscent of sour cherry and well-integrated finely spiced, sweetly exotic vanilla notes from barrel aging. It has a tasty length on the finish.

We recommend it with grilled meat (ostrich steak, springbok fillet, lamb, pepper steak), wild boar or spicy cheese platter.
