Located in the very southwest of Germany on the border with Switzerland and France, this family-run winery creates wonderfully fresh Burgundy-style wines around the small town of Schlatt. Winegrowing was first mentioned as early as 1298 and to this day the region has remained true to its strengths. And with the Martin Waßmer w inery, they have found the right patron. Since 1997, the estate has been vinifying its own wines, inspired by Burgundy and pressed with the individual Martin Waßmer style.

Every grape that likes it sunny feels at home at Martin Waßmer. The vines of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gutedel, Muscat, Sauvignon blanc, which are up to 40 years old, grow and thrive in the densely planted vineyards. For example on the

Every hectare is handpicked, every grape is controlled, the yields are kept low - only the best is brought into the cellar. Barrique barrels made of Burgundian pine wait for the wine to mature for 18 months - steel tanks for young, lively estate wines.
