The finish of this youthful red wine from the Valle Central winegrowing region finally impresses with a remarkable length.
Vinification of the Vinedos Santa Lucia Merlot
This well-balanced red wine from Chile is made from the Merlot grape variety. The berries for this Chilean red wine are harvested at optimal ripeness, particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day in order to preserve their aromas. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Merlot is matured for another 6 months in oak barrels.
