The powerful Montecillo Gran Reserva Selección Especial of Bodegas Montecillo from the magnificent Rioja vintage 1982 matured over 42 months in French oak barriques and was drawn on bottles in November 1987.

This exceptional Spanish red wine enters the glass in a bright brick red, revealing intense aromas of ripe fruit, such as cherries and black currants. Furthermore, this Gran Reserva is complemented by noble spices. In the background, subtle wood notes and licorice are perceptible.

On the palate, the Montecillo Gran Reserva is complex and concentrated with seductive notes of blackcurrant and licorice.
