The elegant Numero 1 Rosé from P.J. Valckenberg flows into the glass with a bright raspberry-red color. The mousse of this sparkling wine shines in the glass with a fine and persistent bead. Poured into a sparkling wine glass, this Old World sparkler offers wonderfully expressive aromas of pear and green apple, rounded off with a mineral note.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with 24.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a true quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler offerings and thus enchants as a German wine which, despite all its dryness, shows the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily need residual sugar. Numero 1 Rosé can rightly be described as particularly fruit-driven and velvety, since it was vinified with a wonderfully off-dry taste profile. Balanced and multi-layered, this crisp sparkling wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this sparkling wine from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region impresses with good length. Again, hints of green apple and pear appear. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.
