More information about Pauline Frühburgunder trocken - Weingut Manz

In the glass, the Pauline Pinot noir precoce from Weingut Manz reveals a bright ruby red color. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Germany shows wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry, blueberry, black currant and mulberry, rounded off by toasted barrique, cigar box and oak contributed by the barrel aging.

This dry red wine from Weingut Manz is perfect for wine lovers who would prefer 0.0 grams of residual sugar in their wine. The Pauline Pinot noir precoce already comes quite close to this, it was pressed with just 3.1 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Pauline Pinot noir precoce flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of blackberry and black currant show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl and clay are added.

Vinification of the Pauline Pinot noir precoce from Manz Winery

The balanced Pauline Pinot noir precoce from Germany is a single varietal wine, vinified from the grape variety Pinot noir precoce. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and marl. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Pauline Pinot noir precoce from Weingut Manz

This red wine from Germany is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect to accompany veal and onion casserole, goose breast with gingered red cabbage and marjoram, or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
