More information about Pinot Noir Anderson Valley - Domaine Anderson
Domaine Anderson's powerful Pinot Noir Anderson Valley enters the glass with a dense light red color. Held at a slight angle, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet red hue at the rims. Giving it some air in the glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, evident in distinct church windows at the rim of the glass. The nose of this red wine from California seduces with notes of morello cherry, plum, black cherry and damson. If we trace the aromatics further, cocoa bean, gingerbread spice and oriental spices come in.
On the palate, Domaine Anderson's Pinot Noir Anderson Valley starts out wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Some wines are dry, others bone dry. This red belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with only 0.7 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this punchy red wine is wonderfully fleshy and dense. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of California finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir Anderson Valley
This powerful red wine from the USA is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 16 months in large oak barrels.
