The beautiful wine region Rheinhessen is located in the northwest of the Upper Rhine Trench, home to countless vines, making it the largest wine-growing area in Germany. The wine-growing area of Rheinhessen extends from Mainz in the north to the southern regions of Worms. To the west, the region is close to Rotenfels and Rheingrafenstein near Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg and Bingen in the northwest, from where it stretches to the east of Oppenheim, where Rheinhessen is naturally bordered by the longest river in Germany.
