More information about Riesling feinherb - A. Diehl
In the glass, the Riesling from A. Diehl offers a brilliantly shimmering light yellow color. This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of morello cherries, black cherries, plums and damsons in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
The Kein Riesling can rightly be described as exceptionally fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. On the tongue, this light-bodied white wine is characterized by an incredibly light and crisp texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Riesling is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of black cherry and plum show.
Vinification of the A. Diehl Riesling
The basis for the elegant Riesling from Palatinate are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Riesling is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Food recommendation for the A. Diehl Riesling
Drink this white wine from Germany best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to wok vegetables with fish, omelet with salmon and fennel or fruity endive salad.
