More information about Rosé Brut Grand Cru - Vesselle Georges

The Rosé Brut Grand Cru from the hand of Vesselle Georges from Champagne offers a bright, light red color in the swirled glass. The mousse of this sparkling wine shimmers in the glass with an incredibly fine, elegant and persistent sparkle. After the first swirl, you can perceive an extraordinary balance in this sparkling wine, as it does not appear watery, syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. On the nose, this Vesselle Georges sparkling wine presents all sorts of pomegranates and raspberries. As if that were not impressive enough, further aromas such as red currant and hibiscus blossom are added thanks to maturation in stainless steel.

On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully light, crisp and creamy. On the finish, this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of pomegranate and raspberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the Vesselle Georges Rosé Brut Grand Cru

The basis for the balanced Rosé Brut Grand Cru from Champagne is grapes from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. It is evident that the Rosé Brut Grand Cru is also defined by the climatic and stylistic factors of Champagne. This French wine can literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself as exceptionally refined and complex. The ripening of the harvested grapes for this wine from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripening grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently pressed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.

Food recommendation for the Vesselle Georges Rosé Brut Grand Cru

This French sparkling wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompaniment to vegetable salad with beetroot, coconut-lime fish curry or spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto.
