This powerful white wine from Germany is vinified from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of limestone, clay and marl. The Sauvignon Blanc Goldberg Fumé Réserve is an Old World wine through and through, as this German wine exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the powerful Sauvignon Blanc Goldberg Fumé Réserve is aged for several months in 500 L oak barrels.
