More information about Tempranillo DO - Altozano

In the glass, Altozano Tempranillo presents a bright ruby color. To the nose, this Altozano red wine reveals all sorts of blueberries, blackcurrants, blackberries and mulberries. As if that were not already impressive, the aging in small wooden barrels adds other aromas such as oriental spices, cinnamon and dark chocolate.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Spaniard enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Castile - La Mancha, more precisely from La Mancha DO, finally impresses with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Altozano Tempranillo

The basis for the balanced Tempranillo from Castile - La Mancha are grapes from the Tempranillo grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest way. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 3 months of aging in French and American barriques.

Food recommendation for Altozano Tempranillo
