The Wolftrap Red from Boekenhoutskloof is a full-fruited, balanced and harmonious red wine cuvée from the South African wine-growing region Coastal Region. This red wine is vinified from the grape varieties Syrah, Mourvedre and Viognier.

A deep ruby red with purple highlights shimmers in the glass. Expressive aromas of juicy blackberries, blueberries, floral notes of violets and fine hints of baking spices captivate the nose. The bouquet already suggests the wonderful complexity of this South African red wine, as on the palate the abundance of fruit with dark berries, sweet tobacco, allspice and a touch of liquorice is also present. The fine tannins harmonize beautifully with the silky texture and the fresh, well-integrated acidity. The pleasant finish is accompanied by delicate nuances of black olives.
