More information about Valmoro Rueda Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc DO - Bodegas Alvarez y Diez
The Valmoro Rueda Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc from Bodegas Alvarez y Diez in Castile-León presents a bright, pale yellow color in the glass. This Spanish cuvée reveals wonderfully expressive notes of pear, mirabelle plum, lemon and peach in the glass. There are also hints of fennel, minerals and lime.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the premium entry-level range, this Spaniard delights, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Excellent flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the finish, this white wine from the Castile-León region impresses with lovely length. Once again, nuances of pineapple and pear appear.
