More information

Ried Strasser Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner First location Kamptal DAC by Birgit Eichinger from Lower Austria presents a bright, platinum yellow colour in the glass. If you pan the wine glass, you can perceive a first-class balance with this white wine, because it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This varietal Austrian wine reveals wonderfully complex notes of star fruits, gallia melon, pineapple and physalis in the glass. In addition, there are hints of whole nut chocolate, walnut and bitter chocolate

.

This dry white wine from Birgit Eichinger is for purists who like it absolutely dry. The Ried Strasser Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner First location Kamptal DAC is already very close to this, since it was vinified with just 2.1 grams of residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this powerful white wine presents itself on the palate. Thanks to its vital fruit acid, Ried Strasser Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner Erste Lage Kamptal DAC presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of mango and star fruit. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and loess soil are added

.

Vinification of Birgit Eichinger Ried Strasser Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner First location Kamptal DAC

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely  the Grüner Veltliner. Only flawless grape material was used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Birgit Eichinger. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and loess soil. Ried Strasser Gaisberg Grüner Veltliner First Location Kamptal DAC is an Old World wine through and through, because this Austrian breathes an extraordinary European charm, which clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here you will be sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation is then carried out in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by ageing for a few months on the fine yeast before the wine is finally bottled.
