The barrel-aged Celeste Crianza Tempranillo 1.5 l Magnum from the wine-growing region of Castile - León offers itself in the glass in dense ruby red. If you give it some air in the wine glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which shows in church windows at the edge of the glass. This single varietal Spanish wine flatters wonderfully fragrant notes of plums, blackberries, morello cherries and black cherries in the glass. These are joined by hints of black tea, dark chocolate and cocoa bean.

On the palate, the Celeste Crianza Tempranillo 1.5 l Magnum from Miguel Torres starts wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Pressurized and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Castile - León finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of blackberry and mulberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and marl are added.

Vinification of the Miguel Torres Celeste Crianza Tempranillo 1.5 l Magnum

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Tempranillo. For this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Miguel Torres, only the best grapes were brought in. In Castile - León, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone, clay and marl. Of course, the Celeste Crianza Tempranillo 1.5 l Magnum is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Ribera del Duero DO. This Spaniard can be described in the best sense of the word as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself exceptionally fragrant. The berries for this red wine from Spain, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Celeste Crianza Tempranillo 1.5 l Magnum is aged for another 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
