After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in distinct church windows at the edge of the glass. To the nose, this Bodegas La Horra red wine presents all sorts of mulberries, plums, black currants, plums and blackberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, other aromas such as black tea, vanilla and gingerbread spice join in due to the aging in small wooden barrels.

Vinification of the Corimbo Ribera del Duero by Bodegas La Horra

This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the Tempranillo grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest way. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 14 months of aging in oak barriques.
