More information about Roda Reserva DOCa - Bodegas Roda
In the glass, the Roda Reserva of Bodegas Roda offers a dense ruby color. Held at a slight angle, a transition of color toward garnet red is evident at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in strong church windows at the edge of the glass. The first nose of Roda Reserva presents nuances of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Roda Reserva from Bodegas Roda is the right wine for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never sparse or brittle, as you would expect from a wine icon wine segment. Powerful and complex, this dense and fleshy red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of La Rioja finally thrilled with beautiful length. Once again, hints of black currant and blackberry show.
Vinification of the Bodegas Roda Roda Reserva
This powerful red wine from Spain is made from Graciano and Tempranillo grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Roda Reserva is aged for another 14 months in French oak barriques.
