Vinification of the Joseph Drouhin Côte de Beaune-Villages
This balanced red wine from France is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone, clay and marl. After the harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Côte de Beaune-Villages is aged for another 15 months in French oak barrels.
