Crios Torrontes - Susana Balbo

The Crios Torrontes of Susana Balbo from the Argentine wine-growing region of Uco Valley in Mendoza can be described in just a few words: varietally pure, fresh and wonderfully aromatic. 

With a bright straw yellow with and sparkling highlights, this wine presents itself in the glass. The nose enjoys an expressive aroma of juicy pears, ripe peaches and elegant notes of white flowers. On the palate, this Argentine white wine is wonderfully fresh with youthful body. The aromas of the nose are joined by a wonderful minerality. The tangy acidity adds the finishing touch to this white wine. 

Vinification of the Susana Balbo Crios Torrontes 

The grapes are harvested by hand in the Uco Valley and immediately brought to Susana Balbo's winery. There, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Finally, this wine remains on the lees for another 3 months before being bottled.
