Vinification of El Niño de Campillo Rioja by Bodegas Campillo

This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the Tempranillo grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful El Niño de Campillo Rioja is aged for another 6 months in barriques made of American oak. After the wine is finished, El Niño de Campillo Rioja is gently harmonized.
