More information about Graciano Dominio de Valdepusa DO - Marques de Grinon
The Graciano from Marques de Grinon is a wonderful, varietal red wine from the Spanish D.O. Dominio de Valdepusa.
In the glass this wine shines in a dark ruby red. The complex bouquet reveals intense aromas of red and black wild berries - especially strawberries and blackberries - with subtle hints of fresh citrus. On the palate, this Spanish red wine is well-structured and smooth. The tannins are beautifully integrated and lead into a lingering and long finish.
Vinification of the Marques de Grinon Dominio de Valdepusa Graciano
The hand-picked Graciano grapes are grown on 7-12 year old vines in shallow soils rich in lime and clay.
The grapes are harvested and selected exclusively by hand during the September harvest period. The grapes are gently pressed in the winery and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation is complete, this red wine is aged for a total of 20 months in French oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Marques de Grinon Graciano
This dry red wine from Spain is an inspiring soloist with great aging potential, very good with red meat dishes or a leg of lamb. It is best to enjoy this wine decanted in time.
