The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral hints from the loess and gravel-dominated soils.
Vinification of Weingut Hammel Gransecco
This elegant Secco from Germany is vinified from the Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of loess and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently pressed. The base wines are then fermented.
