Hints of blackberry and acacia appear once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Hado from Vinedos Pujanza
This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the Tempranillo grape variety. In La Rioja, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless-steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
