Stellenrust's Kleine Rust Pinotage Rosé holds a colorful fruit basket of aromas on the nose. Highly concentrated and attractive, the aroma appears to be of strawberry and raspberry notes, ripe peach and cherry, and apricot. Despite all these fruity notes, it does not come across as cheesy. A taut acid framework and smoky mineral notes give it the character it needs. In the soft and round finish, some spice lingers gently and magnificently at the same time. A single-varietal Pinotage that has a fruit whose purity and expression reflect the South African sun.
