Vinification of Kloster Pforta Klosterschoppen Red
The elegant Klosterschoppen Red from Germany is a cuvée made from the Portugieser, Dornfelder and Zweigelt grape varieties. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
