More information about Muskateller feinherb - Weinbiet Manufaktur

The Muskateller from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate reveals itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering golden yellow. This single-varietal German wine flatters in the glass wonderfully fragrant notes of peach, mirabelle, pear and lemon. In addition, there are hints of nutmeg.

Light-footed and complex, this dense white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Muskateller is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate, which can be stored well, finally delights with exceptional length. Once again, hints of elderberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sandstone and loess soil are added.

Vinification of the Muskateller from Weinbiet Manufaktur

This elegant white wine from Germany is vinified from the Muskateller grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loess soil and sandstone. The berries for this white wine from Germany, when perfectly ripe, are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aroma. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Muscat can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for the Muskateller from Weinbiet Manufaktur

Drink this white wine from Germany ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to Jamaican chicken legs with pineapple salad, red onions stuffed with couscous and apricots or onion tart with thyme.
