More information about Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir trocken - Landerer

With the Landerer Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. In this it displays a wonderfully bright, light red color. This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of blackberries, morello cherries, plums and mulberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of brown bread, cocoa bean and garrigue.

On the palate, Landerer's Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Some wines are dry, others bone dry. This red wine belongs to the latter group, as it was bottled with only 0.8 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir presents itself fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Baden, more precisely from Oberrotweil, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by volcanic rock and loess.

Vinification of the Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir from Landerer

The balanced Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir from Germany is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loess and volcanic rock. The grapes for this red wine from Germany, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the grapes have been harvested, they are taken by the fastest route to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Oberrotweiler Schwarze Erde Pinot Noir is aged for several months in oak barrels.
